Culmarex S.A., a 100% owned subsidiary of Marine Farms ASA, has signed a Letter of Intent to purchase 100% of the shares in Cultivos del Ponto, a Spanish seabass company. With this acquisition, Culmarex's annual production capacity will increase by approximately 3,000 tonnes, to approximately 9,000 tonnes. This will result in Marine Farms becoming the largest producer of seabass and seabream in Spain and one of the largest in the Mediterranean.
